Alaska was the last state on my list, and had been for at least 20 years. I went to Alaska to see how far I could go. A plane to a town to another little plane to a boat to a cabin. Remote. I worked for several weeks with sticks and rocks, making paper from the grasses, wrapping the rocks, burning sticks and watching the sky.
