They have just the right sort of tangential elastic that allows them tostretch across time and space, flipping and subverting meaning. “This is a Test” was a project that grewout of a play on image and word and how they can complicate meaning–the images are all from olddictionaries–I love the line quality,particularlywhen they start to drift a bit with the glaze and iron.
